I have noticed that my illegal friends are starting to drive better cars than I do. They are starting to buy nicer houses than I live in. Do they know something that I don't?
Let's face it. If you told your wife, "honey, I'm going to another country to get a job, I don't know
if I'll be back -- ever, oh and I need all the money we have for my potentially deadly journey that
might result in nothing but my death. Have you seen my keys?" What do you think she might say?
I have to give a lot of credit to these folks, "moms and dads" as Bush would say. They are risking everything to get here, and when they do they find themselves in a country that has a different
language, different currency and no job.
Despite all the obstacles they are able to make it here (of course lots of it depends upon our social programs and emergency rooms), live comfortably, start businesses and even send money back to mom and dad.
Don't get me wrong, I am not for illegal immigration -- AT ALL!! I am just pointing out the truth... they are starting to kick butt.
